But here’s the truth: Long Island lacks a true musical infrastructure. There are no hip hop radio stations based here, no consistent platforms that spotlight our own. And yet, the talent is undeniable.

That’s why I’ve dedicated a full hour of The Play It Cool Show to the sounds of this island. This isn’t a favor. It’s a responsibility. These artists are crafting world-class music right in our backyards, and it deserves to be heard, celebrated, and supported—by us first.
