I must lead with how epic it was to see a true legend on stage. Live at the NYCB theater in WESTBURY Patty blessed us with her array of hits, with no opening act and classy stage design. A little under the weather she relied on her audience to help her with big notes. Speaking of which one of my highlights was listing to her audience testimonies. One lady had seen her in the early 70s for her mother’s birthday another in the early 90s for an anniversary, proving this woman is nothing short of a legacy act. Only down side we did not get the famous shoe kick but rather a slide off. Her voice translated well theoufbroht the theater and I would recommend you seeing her if you have the chance.
