3RD IMPRESSION ft. KING NOVA

I’ve crossed paths with King Nova a couple of times this year where his music did all the talking. The third time, the conversation finally caught up. A few days from the release of his new album FLOKAGE, Nova sat with me to discuss his story and the process behind the music.

The first thing that stood out was how intentional he is. He showed up with everything he needed, prepared and ready to work, which immediately told me how seriously he takes his craft. As our conversation unfolded, we covered everything from his upbringing to the new business model for this project . It was easy to realize King Nova doesn’t just make music; he spends a lot of time thinking about why he makes it, where the culture is headed, and why other people see things differently than he does. That curiosity came through in almost every topic we discussed.

By the end of the interview, I knew we had more in common than I expected. We both care about the work BEHIND the work , the purpose, and the bigger picture. It made for a conversation that felt natural instead of forced, and I think listeners will hear that. So what is my 3rd im pression? King Nova is an artist who’s serious about his music, thoughtful about his business, and invested in leaving his mark on Long Island’s music scene.
